Atlantic Fluid Tech is pleased to publish its 2024 Sustainability Report on our website.
This year, we continued our sustainability journey amid a highly uncertain geopolitical context, marked by the U.S. elections and international conflicts that affected our business objectives within a climate of global instability. The year 2024 was characterized by intense debate on sustainability issues, fueled by the European Parliament elections, which led to revisions and delays in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) policy agendas.
Despite this, we pressed forward, confident that our chosen path equips Atlantic Fluid Tech for its international future—short, medium, and especially long term—without being swayed by external influences. Instead, we strengthened the analytical tools needed to navigate the present and manage the future with greater composure and resilience.
While we experienced underwhelming economic performance due to a weak economic climate at the beginning of the year, we remained steadfast—tightening our belts where necessary and reorganizing operations to meet company needs. Even in this challenging environment, we never abandoned our sustainability goals. Building on our 2023 achievements, we viewed sustainability not as an area to slow down, but one to accelerate—particularly in difficult times.
According, we recalibrated our efforts to enhance production efficiency, reduce the environmental impact of our operations, and foster sustainable innovation across all business sectors. At the same time, we completed our governance journey by adopting the Organizational Model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231 (MOG 231) and developing a Code of Ethics—clear commitments to protecting human dignity and rights, business ethics, and transparency.
We also continued to support voluntary training initiatives, convinced that culture, awareness, and knowledge are the true drivers of change in our industry.
Our second Sustainability Report maintains ESG coverage aligned with CSRD requirements, despite the European Parliament’s temporary halt and the forthcoming guidelines expected by late 2025. Across all areas, we have identified improvement actions, measurement systems, and targets to pursue.
It was a year that demanded resilience. Nevertheless, we continued investing in technological innovation—the hallmark of Atlantic Fluid Tech—driven by our culture of craftsmanship and human capital, a true forge in constant motion.
We look to 2025 with renewed confidence, knowing we have activated the right levers to secure a brighter future for the Atlantic Fluid Tech community and for our local area, where we reinvest a significant share of the value we create.
For navigating the challenges of 2024 together, we once again thank our employees, community members, suppliers, and clients for their essential contributions and support throughout the year. We invite you to explore the 2024 Sustainability Report to learn more about our initiatives and results.
